Flinty came into the world quietly and gently, with scarcely a noise or a commotion. The silver tabby tom's ears were still pressed close against his skull and his eyes were shut; Flinty was blind and deaf to the world and only knew the comforting feel of warmth and humid, moist stickyness characteristic of an after birth scene. Opening his mouth wide, the tom nosed at his mother's belly, his tiny pink jaws begging for milk. Before long, he was suckling happily against his mother's flank, jostling at his other larger siblings for a nice, warm nook to squish his runty body into.

"I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts, diddly-dee; all a-sitting in a roooooooow!"
The melody came from the young voice of Flintkit, known to his friends and familiars as Flinty. The silver tabby was currently occupied with digging up earthworms and placing them in...well...what was the half of a coconut that the young silver tabby had scrounged up from the barn with its twoleg curios and such.
"BIG ONES SMALL ONES SOME AS BIG AS YOUR HEAD!"
A small chuckle came out of his mouth as he pulled out a length of the annelid from its hole underneath a rock and dropped it into the shell.

LE FLINT'S SUBBY RAWR
I think it's decked out enough ^^'
-
"Well, uhhh...I'll try, I s'ppose," Rekeliel mumbled. He was still new at this thing and got cold feet from thinking about it. It should be fine right? Well, nothing had been fine since his fall. Standing up, he patted the ashes from his lap and flexed his wings, clearing off the rest of the burnt feathers and saving what salvageable plumage he had. "Is it hard? Or is it easy? Like, do you have to do anything?"
-
Rekeliel was settling into Flinty's body quite nicely. The poor young kit's soul had been pushed out quite easily and consumed into his own spirit. Easier done than said, really.
Right now, the young silver tabby was resting on a rock, bathing in the sunshine. To one who had the Sight or any type of supernatural vision, a pair of blackened, charred wings could be seen coming from his shoulder blades and a broken halo hovered over his head. Flinty shifted himself and rolled over, his mouth opening in a yawn. This was better than heaven with all its assholes, he supposed.
-
"Mhmm oh okay," Rekeliel mumbled. Well, no wonder he got thrown out. He just got on everyone's nerves just acting the way he was. He saw nothing wrong with being who he was. I mean, who would? "I suppose I'll go find a body then or something...Delitor."
That name sounded familiar.
-
"I think he likes you," Flinty sang as plopped over. The silver tabby kit offered the she-cat a grin from his seat on a rock in the camp.
-
"Psshhhh. I don't deal in absolutes," the kit answered with a cheeky grin. "I'm Flintkit. And you?"
-
"Nice to meet you. Hope it will be some nice times to come, too," Flinty answered with a grin.
-
"Almost cute?! I am cute," Flinty replied with a cheeky grin. He watched the two with an interested glint in his eyes.
-
Flinty accepted the head rub. He then crawled away from the warrior and returned to his previous seat and watched them.
-
"Ohhh you're adorable," Flinty piped in with a snigger of amusement.
-
"Oh, hey didn't see you there," Flinty commented, twisting his head around to look at Moriarty. The silver tabby kit offered the black tom his characteristic wide grin. "What do you mean like the other...infidenl brat thing's?" With both being new to this world and all that, Rekeliel couldn't exactly utilize the young kit's knowledge either.
-
"Aw, can't I just stay here and watch the show?" Flintkit wailed as he darted out of the nursery, pouncing onto a rock as he looked at the falling meteor out of the sky. Maybe it was another angel that got kicked out of heaven, like him? The silver tabby watched, rather entranced by the whole spectacle.
-
Flinty let out an indignant cry as he was knocked down. The silver tabby glared playfully at the bigger warrior, his small tail lashing as he pounced at him, attempting to slam his small weight into the tom's sides.
-
"Mhmmm, you can see'em," Flinty remarked, turning to face the dark tom. Interested, now. Well, at least there was someone who he could connect to, like Citypaw. "This body was the first one I found when she told me to go out and find one and not get into trouble. I made good on the first promise, but I'm not sure if I can do the latter one. Trouble seems to follow me like a shadow."
-
"Birds do it! I don't see why we can't!" Flinty yowled as he shot towards them, jumping up before he rolled around in the dust along with his siblings. The silver tabby offered the older cats a wide grin as he did so. Yup, Flinty was usually always happy. So far, at least.
-
"But daddddyyyy it's so pretty," Flinty wailed in protest as he was nudged. The silver tabby knew it was dangerous yes, but he wanted to see it. What could it be? Was it another of his kind falling down from the heavens? Who was it this time? There was some glint of cruel amusement in his eyes as he watched.
-
"Don't be an idiot--what she doesn't know, she won't know," Flinty shot back with a playful grin. He rolled all over the dust, allowing the fine, silty material to cover his silver pelt into a dusty shade of yellowish gray.
-
Flinty heard the sound of cats coming and immediately shot straight up from his ponderings. The silver tabby was resting underneath a rock on the territory and technically, kits weren't allowed out of camp, but who cares? The silver tabby raised his head and offered his siblings a widening of his usual smile as he appeared, his tail eye with faked excitement. "Hello, daddy. Where are you going today?"
